It’s that time of year again are you ready! Now, I’m not one to wear the Halloween sweaters or the candy corn socks, however I could defiantly see myself wearing this cute or should I say “spooky” necklace made by JesseJanes. This cute pumpkin pendant was created from an old Scrabble Tile and one of a kind graphic image. Each Pendant is packaged in its own small gift bag perfect for giving away to your little goblin. I just love how professional all their pendants look.

Nap Time Has Returned!
The best part about school starting up again is that nap time has finally returned to our home! This whole summer my two and a half year old had refused to take any naps, I just thought that she had grown out of it. But luckily with the home finally quite she is able to fall sleep, nap time has finally returned along with a little of mom’s sanity! Which brings me to my search for an item to feature; I came across this cute little owl, made by Dreaminggiggles. It’s a perfect way to let everyone know that it’s time to be quite, it can easily be hung from the nursery door or in my case the front door to let the UPS man know to quietly knock, (It seems like every time he shows up its right in the middle of nap time) It almost like he knows! lol.

ahhh First day Outfits
So the first day of school is behind us, I can’t believe my little girl is now in school. I have to admit, I was a little nervous for her to ride the school bus for the first time. In fact I almost got in the car and followed her to school but I resist the urge. LoL Needless to say she got there just fine, although it was the coming home part that bothered me the most. Just worrying about whether or not she would get off the bus at the right stop and not too early. Luckily the first day went off without a hitch. Anyways… back to my item of the day, so everyone I have talked to about Katie starting school has reminisced with me, about their first day. It seems that everyone remembers the exact outfit they wore on their first day of school. In fact I to remember my first outfit which was a purple shirt with matching purple and pink flowered pants, ahh the good old 80’s. (needless to say I don’t wear much purple now lol) anyways… So I found this adorable dress at LilMissMuffin shop. My little girl loves dresses, she would wear them all the time if I would let her. LilMissMuffin has some really cute ones in her shop, not to mention her pricing is perfect! I highly recommend stopping by and taking a look! I know I will definitely be putting it on my list for Easter Dresses in the Spring!Wednesday, August 19, 2009
Yummy and Eco Friendly!
This is just so cool that I just had to share it with you all! I have been thinking about getting one for my daughter next year. Abbysatticsatx makes these adorable little reusable lunch bags. The eco-friendly lunch kit includes the following*One recycled Capri Sun Juice Pouch bag,
*One reusable cloth napkin
*One reusable large cloth snack bag
*One reusable small cloth snack bag
Not only is this darling kit just plain adorable! But it’s also going to help you reduce your carbon foot print which we all need to do. What a great way to start teaching your kids while they are young. Abbysatticsatx also has many others to choose from this just happen to be my favorite one.

Sweet little notes
Just a little something, more girly for you all. This is a great idea I can’t believe that I’ve never thought about it before. So I was looking for back to school items last night and came across Riricreations, she has created these pre-made note cards perfect for stuffing into your little ones lunch bag. I remember as a kid getting little notes and always thinking that it was so cool. These little notes have cute little ballerina’s on them which at my house ballerinas and tutu’s are very “in” right now, that and fairies. Anyways I just thought that this was a great item to share with all of you, oh and if ballerina’s and tutu’s isn’t really your thing, she also has dinosaurs or pirates.

Little Heart Clippies
So for this week I thought I would feature some of my favorite Valentine’s products to help all the secret Valentine’s shoppers out there. I came across these little heart clippies and just had to share! This featured listing is for a set of two adorable Valentine children's hairclips made by Lorijoz. These Small Hair clips are perfect for holding back your little ones bangs. Believe me, they are a must have! You see about 11 months ago my 4 year old decided to cut her, own hair! I had tried every creative thing, I could think of. The small hair clippies were my best solution! Beside the fact that she wore cute little hats everywhere she could last summer! Lol But in all seriousness these adorable hair clippies are perfect for any little valentine, even if she did decide to cut her own hair! Hope you enjoy. You can also find many more hair clippies at Lorijoz Etsy shop. Hurry in and tell her I sent you, the first purchase will receive their heart clippies in a Heart shape tin, perfect for gift giving!
